CAREFIB Consortium aims to reduce the burden of atrial fibrillation and its adverse outcome stroke in patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This consortium is divided into three major studies: a prospective CAREBANK biobank, and prospective randomized LAA-CLOSURE and CARE-DETECT trials.
